Battlefield Tour: Royal Warwicks in the Great War

•The Great Retreat,1 RWR in 1914 (Le Cateau, surrender at St Quentin);

•Success and disaster - 1 July 1916 (1/6 & 1/8 RWR at Redan, 2 RWR at Mametz);

•A A Milne at Bazentin-le-Petit (11 RWR);

•The Birmingham Pals at High Wood (14 RWR);

•The Pals and the Tank - Flers-Courcelette, 15-22 Sep 1916;

•Visit to see D51 ‘Deborah’ at Flesquières;

•The Terriers occupy Péronne, March 1917 (143rd (Warwickshire) Bde);

•Julian Gribble’s VC, Beaumetz, 23 March 1918 (10 RWR).
