Following Threads: Exploring Regimental Embroidery in the Victorian Age

28 Jan 2026 - 11 Apr 2026
£ Incl. in admission

Based upon a fine collection of embroidery which has recently been cleaned and remounted for display, this exhibition explores the intricate and varied embroidery work undertaken by members of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in India and other locations, during the late Victorian period.

The exhibition will examine how and why soldiers produced such works and consider the role these textiles played in regimental life at the outposts of the British Empire.
